Ever since her children began their athletic journey, Leola Johnson Arnold has always had a passion for
supporting youth’s education through athletics. A mother of three, she has mentored and guided each
child to be awarded a full scholarship in Woman’s Basketball (ACC), Football (Southern Conference) and
academically.
For many years, she worked behind the scenes, and has supported a highly rated AAU Basketball
Program where over 30 athletes earned full athletic scholarships within the power conferences across
the country.
Leola has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, as a former mortgage brokerage owner,
credit counselor, loan officer and is currently employed in the student loan Industry. She also is the
proud owner of Legacy Network, a Mortgage Loan Signing and full service notary business.

Why I Volunteer with 1+1=U
Leola loves helping others, but especially our youth. As a board member with 1+1=U, her goal with is to
educate, enrich, and encourage the students to realize their aspirations utilizing the talents God has
blessed them with! Leola is an active member of Stoner Memorial AME Zion Church where she serves on
the Media Team, Missionary Ministry, and is the Superintendent of Sunday School.
